Not good. Better try to learn 1 or 2 well, then 13 so-so... It was a great advice from an Egyptian doctor, in 1987, when I was a little boy and demonstrated him my several languages' skills. Later I started to put efforts on all those more useful languages in my life (English, Chinese, Russian) and it was the right way.

When you think about it. A lot of EU languages don't make sense when you translate them word-for-word.

Like the German word for "Glove" translates (word-by-word) to "Hand shoe".
