A translation (from Chinese to English) about tadpoles
« on: May 13, 2018, 05:44:04 AM »
A tadpole (aka a pollywog) is the larval stage in the life cycle of an amphibian, particularly that of a frog or toad. And here comes a translation (from Chinese/中文 to English):
 1. The Chinese text (a photo): .
 2. The English translation:
" Warm spring is coming.
The ice in the pond melted.
A mother frog slept all winter and now wakes up.
She creeps out of the mud hole and jumps into the pond.
Then she lays many black and round eggs on the water grass.
 The spring breeze blows gently.
 The sun is shining.
The water in the pond is getting warmer and warmer.
The eggs of the mother frog move slowly and become a group of tadpoles with large heads and long tails.
They swim in the water very happily.

The tadpoles are getting bigger and bigger.
Their tails are getting shorter and shorter.
Their black clothes turned slowly into green clothes.
 They are completely different now."
A fan of science, philosophy and so on. :)
