Small Japanese Restaurant Decoration
« Reply #18 on: March 10, 2017, 01:42:23 PM »

Small Japanese restaurant decoration

There is a new Japanese restaurant which is small, but very comfortable and pretty. It's because of its good decoration.
 Some photos from that restaurant:

- -- the pretty entrance. I like all these lanterns, ropes, etc.

- and -- many photos on the wall, interesting "picture" on the wall (a plate in a frame).

- -- different Japanese products. Pretty Japanese decoration (interior).

- -- a Japanese katana (a kind of sword).

I like to be there...  :-*

North-Korean Restaurant decoration
« Reply #21 on: May 03, 2017, 01:00:11 PM »

North-Korean Restaurant decoration

North-Korean (Korean) minority in PRC's food restaurant

Well, it's a North-Korean food restaurant decoration. The restaurant is not in North Korea (DPRK), but in China (PRC) and it's probably a restaurant of the Chinese Koreans (i.e. the Korean minority in China). The decoration is pretty Korean, in my point of view.
 Some photos:
- -- a picture (painting) of traditional Korean dancers (a male dancer and a female dancer).
- -- a traditional Korean drum.
- -- another photo of this drum.
- -- traditional Korean clothes (male clothes).
- -- and, another one showing a male and a female dancing a traditional Korean dance and wearing traditional Korean clothes.
 I think it's a good restaurant decoration. I like it. 8)

Restaurant with Mongol ger (yurt) shape
« Reply #22 on: June 15, 2017, 07:42:08 PM »

Ger (yurt) shaped restaurant

A restaurant with Mongol ger (aka 'yurt') shape: . There is a Chinese round table inside.

 More about ger/yurt: "
Yurt – originally from a Turkic word referring to the imprint left in the ground by a moved yurt, and by extension, sometimes a person's homeland, kinsmen, or feudal appanage. The term came to be used in reference to the physical tent-like dwellings only in other languages. In modern Turkish the word "yurt" is used as the synonym of "homeland" or a "dormitory". In Russian the structure is called "yurta" (юрта), whence the word came into English.
гэр (transliterated: ger, [ˈɡɛr]) – in Mongolian simply means "home".[1][2]
тирмә (transliterated: tirmä) is the Bashkir term for yurt.
киіз үй (transliterated: kïiz üy, [kɘjɘz ʉj]) – the Kazakh word, and means "felt house".
боз үй (transliterated: boz üy, [bɔz yj]) – the Kyrgyz term is meaning "grey house", because of the color of the felt.
ak öý and gara öý ([ɑk œj, ɡɑˈrɑ œj]) – In Turkmen the term is both literally "white house" and "black house", depending on its luxury and elegance.
qara u'y or otaw ([qɑrɑ́ ʉj, uʊtɑ́w]) – in Qaraqalpaq the first term means "black house", while the second means "a newborn family" and is used only to name a young family's yurt.
    "Kherga"/"Jirga" – Afghans call them.
"Kheymah" (خیمه/ख़ॆमा) is the word for a yurt or a tent like dwelling in India and Pakistan, from the Hindi/Urdu (and Persian) :خیمه
In Persian yurt is called chador (چادر), in Tajik the names are yurt, khona-i siyoh, khayma (юрт, хонаи сиёҳ, хайма).
өг (ög, Tuvan pronunciation: [œɣ]) is the Tuvan word for yurt.

5 photos from Chinese restaurants
« Reply #23 on: July 18, 2017, 03:28:09 PM »

Five photos from Chinese restaurants

We kept some photos from different Chinese restaurants. I almost forgot them and today I uploaded them in order to post them here, to have some more decoration examples in this place. :)
I already forgot which picture shows which restaurant (some of them are maybe from one and the same restaurant), but does it matter? The important is to show up these good decorations, right?
And here they are (the five photos):

  • -- I like this traditional Chinese style!
  • -- These colorful triangles are so cute!
  • -- Pretty lanterns!
  • -- Nice decoration.
  • -- When there is wood/wooden, I surely like it! :)
Hope you are enjoying them! 8)
