I know some people has no idea where is the Pentagon. Notice: not 'pentagon'; 'Pentagon'. Capital letter 'p'.
If you think about the pentagon -- it's (in geometry, of course) a kind of polygon. Its name comes from the Greek words 'πέντε' (pente) and 'γωνία' (gonia), meaning 'five' ('5') and 'angle'). It is any five-sided polygon (or 5-gon). And the sum of the internal angles in a simple pentagon is 540°. (Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentagon).
But the question is about the Pentagon. Where is the Pentagon? It is in the US, North America.
An interesting picture about it. Enjoy:
This shows the Pentagon compared to several large structures: 1. blue: The Pentagon, 1414 ft or 431 m, 2. pink: RMS Queen Mary 2, 1132 ft or 345 m, 3. yellow: USS Enterprise (CVN-65), 1122 ft or 342 m, 4. green: Hindenburg, 804 ft or 245 m, 5.purple: Yamato, 863 ft or 263 m, 6. gray: Empire State Building, 1453 ft or 443 m, 7. red: Knock Nevis tanker, 1503 ft or 458 m.
