在SEO中，Alexa Traffic Rank不能不谈，它是Alex排名网站的主要依据Alexa Traffic Rank是Alexa根据3个月内其工具条发回的数据，所统计，计算出来的平均值，该值与两个因素有关：一是网站每天的独立ip访问量，另一个是每ip每天的页面浏览量。

其中，一ip多次访问同一网站，该网站的ip数只加1，一ip多次浏览同一页面,page views也只加1. 在Alexa的traffic rank detail中， reach（ip访问量）通常以、个/百万来衡量，即假如"Reach per million users: 3 mos. Avg.=0.5“就表示3个月来，每100万个上网的人中，有0.5个人访问了你的网页。如果”Page Views per user: 3 mos. Avg.=2.8“则表示3个月来，每个访问者平均浏览页面数是2.8个。
