In this one the mouse holds the glass that was shown in the earlier image resized to fit this particular image. The texture of the glass has been changed from glass to a sort of crystal.
Hohoho!:) The mouse is so cute and lovely! I love this image! 8)

One fast answer from me. Fast and short, but very exact, imo: the problem with some of these people is that they don't have the right priority. Maybe you know the case when someone wanted luxury, before the more important things in the life: he sold his kidney to buy the newest cellphone model! :-\ ::) :o :o

We can't move a single answer/reply from one thread to another thread. We can only move a thread from one board to another board or to split a thread. :P I hope this is not very big trouble for you dear guys. :-*

Are there some plans for re-industrialization? I read something online about it, but it was only a short opinion of some netizen and I was just interested to learn a bit more about it; How do you think?

Aww, they're so cute! :-* And it's so kind of you to take care of them!
Aren't there some government or local government measures against the rattlesnakes? :(

SEO / Bounce rate
« on: March 05, 2016, 08:46:56 AM »
... Bounce-rate...
It's undoubtedly a very important thing, when it comes to ranks, SERPs and so on. But how do you work with it or how do you use it for SEO? :o Share some example, Kavya. Do you mind to share with us?

The rank is calculated using a proprietary methodology that combines a site's estimated average of daily unique visitors and its estimated number of pageviews over the past 3 months.
Traffic Ranks are updated daily. A site’s ranking is based on a combined measure of Unique Visitors and Pageviews. Unique Visitors are determined by the number of unique Alexa users who visit a site on a given day. Pageviews are the total number of Alexa user URL requests for a site. However, multiple requests for the same URL on the same day by the same user are counted as a single Pageview. The site with the highest combination of unique visitors and pageviews is ranked #1.
Fair enough.

Voat.co's decreasing Alexa traffic rank, other traffic ranks and "The Fox and the Grapes".

I like to read and I like to enjoy my life as much as possible. This is why I do avoid to read something in or from Voat.co. I just can't enjoy reading shitposts, hatred posts ('fatpeoplehate', 'niggers' and other trash over there), psychotic posts and many other kind of ruining the healthy way of thinking, feeling, living posts. Believe me, my life is much better without all this, but... when someone with a nick 'Atko' posts something about how Alexa.com's traffic rank of Voat.co is wrong and I had the 'lucky chance' to read it, then my internal duty of an Alexa.com's fan push me to give some more professional point of view and to tell you more true facts about things like Alexa.com's ranking, Voat'co's decreasing traffic or/and popularity, some OTHERS traffic ranks (this is probably the most important part of my article, because it will support the Alexa.com's data about Voat.co!) and in the end, I'll tell you a fable about a fox. I wish I could smile here, but I can't, because it's not funny, it's pity and sad.
  • He (Atko) in https://voat.co/v/announcements/comments/894744 said that he frequently sees posts where people link to Alexa and claim that Voat "popularity" is declining. Frankly, it makes me feel good on the one hand, because obviously not only we here mentioned this and on the another hand, because the topic is about the decreasing traffic of Voat.co. We don't respect this website over here, because the same person (Atko or Atif) banned this seo-forum-seo-luntan.com for 'spam', against the Voat'co's anti-spam rules, which allows 20% links to personal websites. Another reason to disrespect Voat.co is the fact that there is a shelter for haters, people with criminal behavior; racists and many more bad creatures. I think no one can doubt this fact, so let me continue.
  • Atif (Atko) thinks that is should be 'pretty clear' that Voat.co's traffic is stable. I can't agree more: it's a very stable decrease, which is so obvious and so 'pretty clear' that I can't think of something more obvious and more pretty clear; just take a look at this Alexa.com's graph: Source: http://traffic.alexa.com/graph?o=lt&y=t&b=ffffff&n=666666&f=999999&p=4e8cff&r=1y&t=2&z=30&c=1&h=150&w=340&u=voat.co. So 'stable', isn't it? 8)

It shows that less people visit voat.co + less daily pageviews + less time on site + more bounce rate (which isn't good.)

Well, if someone really and honestly doubt the Alexa.com's data about Voat.co, let's see OTHER websites, who provide traffic rank data! 8)

    According to https://www.similarweb.com/website/voat.co
    August 1, 2015: 7 000 000 total visits.
    January 1, 2016: 3 950 000 total visits.
     (It means 3 050 000 visits LESS!)
    1. Global Rank -- down.
    2. Country Rank -- down.
    3. Category Rank -- down.
So, Alexa.com and Similarweb.com are showing one and the same: decrease!
MORE? Here you are: The Compete.com's: https://siteanalytics.compete.com/voat.co/
1. Unique visitors for 2015-07: 1 568 453
2. Unique visitors for 2016-01: 66 568.
It shows 1 501 885 LESS unique visitors.
So? Alexa.com, Similarweb.com and Compete.com are showing one and the same DECREASE of the Voat.co's traffic.

Is that enough? Or we 'must' close our eyes for all these numbers and behave like zombies? No, thank you! 'No!', especially after a popular person and a professional in this field, i.e. a web developer (Education: Computer Science AND
Alma mater: University of Virginia)
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Huffman) said so: "I know their subscriber numbers are totally bogus, that's obvious to me. "
  • Let me waste some more time about these:
a/ "I personally don't wish for Voat to become too big..."
b/ "Also, I personally don't really care about Voat popularity..."

Here comes the Aesop's fable The Fox and the Grapes:

A fox tried to reach some grapes hanging high on the vine, BUT was unable to, although he leaped with all his strength! As he went away, the fox remarked 'Oh, you aren't even ripe yet! I don't need any sour grapes!!!' (You may learn more about this fable: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fox_and_the_Grapes)
And what positive I may say in the end of all this? I may say that Atko (Atif) is right about that "Voat is not "the next cool thing"". How a website that is losing more and more visitors (and popularity) may be a 'next cool thing'? It's going to be just a very ordinary website, if all that toxic, crazy, abnormal, disgusting, antihuman situation didn't destroy it completely!
As elder citizens, as elder netizens, as an elder website (never forget that seo-forum-seo-luntan.com is elder than voat.co, please!), we predict this. And this is our best possible prediction! You don't deserve anything like this.

It's one of my favorite, because I like to review my posts, if while I type someone already answered or added something. I hope you can like it. :P

A reply to the one you posted right now (the scorpions and stuff): I feel you there are like in many places in Australia. According to my small experience, I think from all the developed countries (Britain, Canada, New Zealand, France, USA, France, Japan, Holland and others), only in Australia you can deal with so many wild+dangerous+scary animals. But now... you... makes me like the mold more. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Be careful and take good care! It's not a joke to live in so wild nature environment. You are a hero. (Admiring!)

I got a useful one and I'm sure all our Chinese and other non-native Eng. speakers here (including our dear lurkers, who are 10 or 20 times more than us in a current period of time according to our public data, which you also may use, when you want to) will appreciate it: What is your short list of some important contemporary slangs and idioms of the American English? You may write for us some of those you use or/and you like personally. No need to be very 'academic'. :) :) Just like between friends. Teach us something about it, pls! :)

Very, very good and full answers! :o I can learn so much new information reading them. I also like your way to separate the content with signs like
It gives me personal feeling like I read a beautiful book.  8)
I think you are already one of our best ever contributors and if someday we have some big advertisement income, I'll lobby for you to get a fair part of it. It's not a friendly joke. I mean it. I can explain what is my view of "big advertisement income": we heard and we read online that, when a website is getting popular enough, then the rich companies are probably eager to connect with you and to offer you some good advertisement cooperation (simply like: "I will pay you $ 1000 for a banner in the headers or $ 800 for the banner in the footers of your website." and then I think nobody will be against our best contributors as you to get a reasonable part of the money.)
And this helps me to ask you my question now:
USD 100 is it a good cash right now in the US? Can you give me some examples what you can buy currently with USD 100 in your town? How many kilograms of potatoes or tomatoes equals it? Or how many hamburgers? (I read somewhere that the hamburger was something like an unit to measure the incomes around the world. :) ). Is it enough to have a romantic dinner in some of your local restaurants? How many beers for USD 100? I'm interested to compare the standards.

Social network | SEO - Social network / Is gambling illegal in China
« on: March 03, 2016, 01:21:32 AM »

Is gambling illegal in China?

Yes, the gambling (for example -- casinos, betting in games such as mahjong and card games, unofficial lotteries) is officially illegal in China. But we can participate in the state-run lotteries. All this is in the Mainland China. In Hongkong (Xianggang) and especially in Macao (Aomen) the gambling laws are different (for example there are a lot of legal casinos in Macao).
