 There was that study that showed that the healthy lifestyle even may prevent many of the genetic disorders. I. e. you're not doomed if you're hard-working and clever. Of course, if you're lucky too (in case you're too poor and/or live in some war zone or something similarly bad, there is less choice to live a healthy life).

 1. It's not just a cope, it's an excuse for many of those lazy incels or those "blackpilled" (ultra-depressed and mega-pessimistic) ones. They make wrong conclusions like "My genes are bad, therefor I can't achieve anything."
 I remember one incel who said that if you have a small frame you can't build muscles because you have no "material" for it and he made that wrong analogy with the bald men and the hairstyles. Of course you can build mucles and can improve your body even if you're a dwarf. There are even kids who are bodybuilders!
 2. It's not something so mind-blowing. There is a simple proof: the brothers or the sisters who look differently. For example one of the brothers is tall and ugly and the second one is short and handsome or one of the sisters is very pretty and the other one is average.
 So, it's not about the genetics, it's about what kind of combination you got (the luck in question) + what you'll do with this combination (your lifestyle which is mostly up to you).

Спасяване на зелена гъсеничка

 Поредно малко добро дело за едно малко същество - една зелена гъсеничка.
 Миех едни марули и по едно време намерих зелена гъсеничка между листата. Взех я и я занесох в градината върху едни храсти. Надявам се да си намери подходяща храна наоколо и да стане пеперудка... а може и бъдещ молец да е, не съм много добър в лепидоптерологията ("пепрудологията").

Оправяне на един бордюр

  Имаше един бордюр, който беше с няколко сантиметра изпъкнал в единия си край. Тази неравност ставаше причина хора да се спъват. Спънах се и аз, но благодарение на усърдните си спортни тренировки не паднах, защото съм с добър баланс и рефлекси. Е, реших да се опитам да го оправя този бордюр. Хванах го с две ръце, извадих го целия, след това го сложих обратно на мястото му и скочих върху него - това го намести добре; мястото вече е равно и няма да има спъващи се.

Спасяване на една светулка

  Поредно малко добро дело за едно малко същество - една светулка.
 Миех целина, когато забелязах нещо подобно на хлебарка, но като го хванах и разгледах внимателно, видях че е светулка. Излезнах навън, за да съм сигурен, че я пускам на място, където има достатъчно трева, храсти и дървета. Изгубих няколко минути, но се радвам, че светулката оцеля и полетя на воля (както лично се убедих, преди да се върна да си довършвам миенето на целината и другите зеленчуци).
