What is moderator
The question "What is moderator?" is a good, reasonable question. First of all, you should know that moderator doesn't mean only forum moderator. The word "moderator" often refers to the chairman of a meeting. Specifically, it may refer to:
a) Government
Moderator (town official), elected official who presides over the Town Meeting form of government
b) Internet
Forum moderators, a person given special powers to enforce the rules on an Internet forum, newsgroup or blog
IRC moderators
Game moderators
Moderators of Usenet Newsgroups
