Title: Gooseberry
Post by: 英语课 on April 16, 2012, 02:39:38 AM

Gooseberry

is also known as the lantern fruit. The fruit is nearly round or oval-shaped, and it's yellow-green, bright and transparent when it's mature.  A few vertical line vascular bundles are clearly visible, and the calyx still remains. It looks very much like the lantern fruit. The gooseberry is one kind of cold, nutrient-rich fruits. It's  suitable for fresh and processed into jams and wine or canned food .
