 it's hard to say if they're robots or manual link-builders.  :P But as long as they post logically (in the right sections - about SEO in the SEO section, about love in the love section and so on), without duplicate posts, I can accept it, because it's a kind of content for the forum + visitors + page view/-s. But if they start to behave crazy, no matter robots or not - the ban list is always glad to meet them.  :P :P

Forum Posting is the best one way link building method which is very popular. It is the legit way through which you can generate the link of your website.

There are many ways to get one way back links, but I prefer dofollow blog comments, forum posting, article submission and link wheels.

 And link wheels? But right now, in another SEO topic, you posted that "One way links are the best, others like 2 and 3 way link building are just spam on steroids, avoid them at all cost."
 Why then 2 and 3 way link-building is just spam, but link wheels are not?!

To me Link wheels are one way links; my understanding of 2 & 3 ways links is "Two/ three way linking is mutual agreement between two/ three webmasters for exchanging links" there are many link farms online doing this and it is unnatural.

we should create quality backlinks from quality sites like the forum, blog, web 2.0 etc and also your content should be very good and in the forum you should put more effective and accurate replies.
