Here are the following factors you have to consider when your doing On-page optimization.
Title tag, Meta tag, site's content, site architecture, indexed pages, and distribution of targeted keywords.

On Page optimization or On Site factorization, in which a Web Site core features has been placed as guided through Search Engines. Which makes a Web site more friendly to Search Engines.

The very first and basic step to start with is;
