The Chinese name of Mimosa is 含羞草, it means "shy", because when they are touched, the leaves will be closed.

It's easy to grow up. It's flowers look like pink pompon ball, very lovely. It is said that if horses or donkeys eat it, it will make the hair drop. Maybe also for human, so it's better not to touch them often. But it is used as one kind of herbs in China.
