Japanese odd commodity: Hugvie

Hugvie cushion lets you cuddle your loved one and feel their heartbeat.

It is difficult for me to describe what Hugvie is. First Hugvie is a pillow, and secondly it is a phone Dock base. Both of these combine the effect: holding the pillow on the phone.
It's developed by Professor Ishiguro of Osaka University. Besides the phone, it has a vibration effect. Ishiguro said vibration is mainly used for the two aspects: one looks like a heartbeat and the pulse gets faster or stronger, depending on the volume and tone of the caller’s voice.  Ishiguro hopes this thing can bring a little warmth to the communication between people.
You can buy Hugvie from Vstone for $60.

If you like it, go and hug it!
