 Just have to attract more targeted traffic to your website. If you own a website about horses you will need people who are interested in horses, not people interested in Wanning or in pens, right?
 Also you need a good, interesting and unique content. ring2012 mentioned the content already.

I think your can do socialbookmark, press release participate in Facebook, linked-in & twitter will helps in getting good traffic to your website.

Simply if you want decrease your bounce rate so you should be work on internal page linking and shold be place add with thoughtful.
