Hello and welcome back! :)
Well, it's a forum for SEO, but also for Non-SEO and I am writing mostly about other stuff (everything else).
Yep, there were some new SEO jokes and many crazy spammers...
I was born in Europe, but I live in China since 2004. Translating online, developing websites, etc. intellectual jobs. About this side of the world - well, some of the biggest news are simply:
- Vietnam wants to take many Chinese islands and islets, but China don't think so: http://www.seo-forum-seo-luntan.com/social-network-seo-social-network/china-sets-up-sansha-city-to-administer-south-china-sea-islands/
- Shenzhou 9 (the spacecraft) is flying (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shenzhou_9)
- Jiaolong (the deep-sea research submarine) is diving up (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jiaolong_%28submersible%29)
So...we're well around here :)

I watched a video (Ted.com; I am sorry I don't remember the url of that video to share it here now) and the scientist said that most of the people believe that they could die more probably during:
-earthquakes
-tornadoes
-terrorist attacks like 9/11,
BUT in fact most people die in swimming pools (drowning). Then why most of us afraid of tornadoes, earthquakes, terrorist attacks more than swimming pools? It's just because the news prefer to inform us about those rare events (because they're more interesting and attractive than the swimming pools, rivers, lakes, seas, oceans).
The same in this case - THERE ARE many good news, but they're just not so interesting/attractive as the bad, scary news.
I like to share and to watch all type of news.

Oh yeah. You're right.

Back again too. I am back again too. :D

I hope we'll be all back soon. :D
