Title: Redirected Domain , Creates problem?
Post by: greenarrow on September 06, 2013, 05:50:20 PM
The Question is, The domain age was 13 yrs . For 12 yrs 10 months the domain was redirected to other site.

Now I skipped the redirection, Site was newly built up - Set alive without any redirection (A New website).

The condition of the domain ( I mean the redirection of its earlier stages ) cause the rankings?

IMHO, it's just like a new beginning. Create good on-page SEO, add it in your favorite Social networks and then it'll rank normal soon. After some weeks, please tell us if I'm right. You're welcome! :D

You are right !! But the site is not ranking for High Competition Keywords with max searches.

Have a doubt, is it penalized?

1. Have a look about the new Google algorithm "Hummingbird". I mentioned it already there: http://www.seo-forum-seo-luntan.com/seo/news/msg17604/#msg17604. Maybe this impacts your website now.
2. Use Google's Webmaster Tools and see are there some messages and useful information for your problem. http://www.google.com.hk/#newwindow=1&q=Google+Webmaster+Tools&safe=strict
