Attorney
I know this word(attorney) for a long time. But I wasn't very sure what's the meaning. This night I learned more about the meanings of it from here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attorney

Lawyer
For me, till tonight, it was like "attorney = lawyer". More about the lawyer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawyer. And it is very interesting to learn this one -- "Attorney at law (or attorney-at-law)"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attorney_at_law.

I wondered what to add in this useful thread. And I'll tell you the truth -- I don't want to be an attorney. It was my parent's dream, but I think it's just not for me. I know the attorneys/the lawyers/the attorneys-at-law are useful for the society and I can't deny it. But I don't like this job. I prefer something less stressful with more free time.
