Buying successful forum or another kind of website
(budget ~ $1000-1200)
OK, here is the deal: Recently I'm thinking how much I need a profitable website (or even two). In my opinion, the best for me will be a forum, because I got some experience with this kind of websites (the forums). 8) But if you have to sell another kind of websites -- you're welcome to offer them to me, too!
What I need (i.e. what is "successful" in my mind):
1. Many visitors (at least around 350 per day or around 10 000 - 11 000 per month).
2. I'm not going to buy adult forums/websites and other, which are inconsistent with the AdSense.
You may offer me your forums/sites here in this thread or just send me PM.

And the big question, which I'm going to answer is: "If such forums(sites) are already profitable, why would the owner sell them?" :)
My answer: there are different reasons, I will mentions some of them:
- some owners make sites just because they want to sell them and to earn money at once (for example a certain website makes $10 per month, but if they sell it, they may earn $1000 and to reinvest the money in other websites and/or another business).
- some owners just don't want to deal with the certain website anymore (for example they're tired to deal with some members in the forum, I had such a bad experience and I sold a SMF forum ago).
- other reasons.
