What beautiful lanterns. I've never seen such before. Thank you very much for pointing this thread out. I really enjoyed it.

In the US we don't have a lot of history. Unlike much of the world, our 'civilized' history doesn't really go back that far. So we can't point to buildings and architecture that goes back hundreds of years. A couple or so at best. Same with traditions, holidays, and the like.

I found this very interesting.

After such a natural interest, I have the motivation to continue (with joy) to upload more of our photographs here.  8)
(About the US' festivals -- currently in China Thanksgiving Day is kind of popular. Some Chinese even think it's some local festival, and I'm explaining then, it's a native US festival. :) And Halloween, too, but it's more international and it origins from West Europe. I'm sure you know all this, but I post it here for the people, who are reading and didn't know these facts. :) )
These photos have different 'information value' (i.e. some of them are kind of blurry and/or not so related to the Festival, but for the foreigners may be some interest. For example, when I watch some photo from Japan, I like it, no matter, what is on this photo, just because I like Japan and I never visit it.)

So, now I'll upload this part, because I'm afraid of something like: no electricity, server problems, etc. Just to be sure that at least these pictures are already on. :) Later -- more...

Cool. Let's continue it now, until we have some time, before we go out for the Lantern Festival 2016! (I can hear some fireworks outside already.)
