Hello Dollies

Ingredients

1 cup crushed graham crackes
1/4 cup melted butter
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup pecans,chopped
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries or raisins
1 can sweetened condensed milk

Directions

Mix graham crackers and melted butter together; press into a greased 8 inch square pan. Sprinkle with chips, then nuts, coconut and cherries. Pour condensed milk over all and spread lightly.

Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.

 Well, because I read (as usual) all your recipes, I think what's useful to add here and I think it's this one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maraschino_cherry (just because most of us here aren't native English speakers and I'm sure some of them never heard about this cherry, but they know it. Last time I had 2, when I drank a margarita cocktail :D ;D.)

We have a lot of coconuts and coconut products around, because we live in the so called 'Coconut city'. It is like a Chinese Honolulu.

For the coconut, we live in an arid climate so any coconuts are imported. Now mesquite for smoking meats, I have several trees of in my yard. They have the thorns from hell on them. Will go through a lawn mower tire or a shoe without too much trouble.

Good link. Thanks! In our place is the opposite: the pineapples and coconuts are locals, but cherries, grapes and apples are imported. ;D

 When I started to live in this southernmost area, I realized how 'precious' are the cherries and some of the pears, for example. But at the same time: pineapples, papayas, pitayas... are available and comparatively cheap.
 Another thing that is a 'deli' here is the cheese. If mr. Mojo get some money from the lottery or something like this: my business-investment hint to him is: Establish the first Cheese factory around and get rich! :D
