Title: What Search Engines Are Looking For?
Post by: danielnash on September 06, 2016, 06:20:50 PM
Search engines want to do their jobs as best as possible by referring users to websites and content that is the most relevant to what the user is looking for. So how is relevancy determined?

Content: Is determined by the theme that is being given, the text on the page, and the titles and descriptions that are given.
Performance: How fast is your site and does it work properly?
Authority: Does your site have good enough content to link to or do other authoritative sites use your website as a reference or cite the information that’s available?
User Experience: How does the site look? Is it easy to navigate around? Does it look safe? Does it have a high bounce rate?

Share your view here with all of us, what are you think about it?

Lucky you! Google!...

We can't use it here. No Google in China.

Take a look. For example:
Quote

www.google.com 的响应时间过长。
Check your internet connection.

Check any cables and reboot any routers, modems, or other network devices you may be using.
If it is already listed as a program allowed to access the network, try removing it from the list and adding it again.
如果您使用代理服务器…

Check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server:

Well?

Good Daniel's article, as usual! Good topic and some good answers, as well! 8)
And what I think is that the search engines are still not good enough. Maybe it's not possible to have a perfect search engine; but I believe they'll be better some day!

You're looking, but you're not understanding! It's not about what are you looking for! It's about what are the search engines looking for!

Guys, I wonder, if you can't get such a simple meaning in English, how you're able to make SEO (in English)?

Every search engine will be showing the results based on the relavency of your website based on the search query or the keyword. If your website has to come on the top. as this thread says  the content must be genuine and related to the search term.

According to me nowadays search engine giving more preference to unique content. most of the off page activities was dying already so blog posting, web2. 0 activities taken main role to rank keywords.
