Title: Is AMP necessary?
Post by: danielnash on May 01, 2017, 07:21:58 PM
I know Accelerated Mobile Pages provide website to load fast in mobile devices, even over slow networks, but I want to know is that necessary? If I do not use AMP then my website can’t rank high?

As a (a=one) ranking factor it's okay, but if you dislike it or you can't use it, just emphasize more (focus more attention) on the other ranking factors. Well, we don't know them all (who knows?), but we know enough of them, that's why, I think my advise is good.

Others points of view are pretty welcome, too!

By the way, Daniel, your current signature is killing me! ;D ;D ;D

If everything else is OK or almost OK, then your website will rank still pretty well. This is my simple SEO-logic. 8)
