What is "sub for sub"
What is "sub for sub"? Basically it is "if you subscribe to my channel, I will subscribe to yours too." :) Of course it depends on the context. And it may be against the rules in some website.
-
I used this in another website: "For everyone who needs those 1000 subscribers! I suggest to help each other with subscribe for subscribe. Only free subscribers, please! 1000 subscribers is enough, right? I need it. If you need it too, post a reply down there. Thank you in advance!", but some persons said it's against the rules of that website, so I decided not to sub for sub anymore.

Chance to getting Terms of Use strike, or channel terminated so please don't go for SUB for SUB

Yes. You're wise! Thank you for your opinion! Hope it'll be useful for those who're still trying it.

It's not a bad idea. Why not people to allowed to subscribe to each other?! But once someone makes a rule that it's not right, well, it's already a bad idea. :(
-
It actually still works, becuase one of my freinds got 30 subscribers this way.

It's probably workable, but... not worth the risk.
