Honestly, I thought that it's only me and some more guys. I thought it's easy for everyone to have a girlfriend. When I started to read incels' boards, subreddits, forums, groups and so on, I was like "Wow, there are so many incels!" :o

 In fact the incels (truecels) are less than the noncels. But, sure, there are people who think that they're the one and only incels. I don't know how big is the exact number of the incels; some people suppose it's around 10% (which sounds reasonable) of the world's population. I suppose that with the nearcels it may be up to 35% in some regions (of course, I'm not talking about those locationcels who can be nearly 100% in some villages with predominantly male population, for example).
 But, yes, the point is: you're not alone.

I read an article that in some countries the singles (incels + volcels) are around the half of the population.

 It's quite possible. Especially those with bad male:female ratios in the most of their regions.
