Title: Copium. What is it?
Post by: Non-SEO on September 08, 2022, 06:11:42 AM

Copium

When we read incels' topics sometimes we need an "incel vocabulary" knowledge.

There is a word "copium". Copium is a genus of lace bugs in the family "Tingidae". But the incels' meaning of "copium" isn't that. It comes from "cope" + "opium". ;D ;D It is a metaphorical opiate inhaled when faced with loss, failure or defeat. The incels use it to explain or to show some of them (or some of the noncels) who is over-coping.

They use it sometimes to disagree with something which isn't a cope at all.

It is a neologism. "Copium" is a sort of "fictional drug" (psycho drug or spiritual drug) used for coping from a loss or deal with some problem.
Incels use it mostly with the Pepe the frog memes. Pepe is shown inhaling something from a cylinder that has “COPIUM” written on it.
For example, some incel thinks something like that being short is better than being average tall. Then another one answers him something like  "You're inhaling too much copium."

Some incels are clever enough to know that "Chad only" is also a copium because there are many nonChads who also have wives, girlfriends, lovers.

There are different incels with different experience and knowledge base. So for some what is really a copium isn't a copium and vice versa.

Haha, it's very popular indeed.
