« on: May 10, 2016, 03:47:03 AM »

Electronics / Re: New KFC Restaurant Run Entirely by Robots
« on: May 10, 2016, 02:43:36 AM »
When a company (an employer) can save money (and avoid responsibilities/duties like insurances and so on) automating a position, they most probably will.
Robotisation is good for the owner and bad for the employment rate (Employment-to-population ratio: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Employment-to-population_ratio). Only in a communist society, where everything is a common property, the robotisation is not a problem, because all the restaurants, stores, etc. are common and if people work less (because of the robotisation), it's good, because everything is common, everything is free and they don't need salaries (money).

An illustration (capitalism, communism): http://www.theblaze.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/capitalism-or-communism.jpg

You didn't say which is your website. So, a general advice is: more and more visitors (users).

I think there is no question/no debate. Because... is really some sane person, who thinks that religion isn't a 'stop' for the science-tech progress everywhere around the world?

Stars / About Bruce Lee from his daughter Shannon Lee
« on: April 29, 2016, 03:27:11 AM »
We may learn about Bruce Lee from the answers of his daughter Shannon Lee. Here is what I learned today:

1. Bruce Lee was very success oriented.

2. He was actually an extremely accomplished fighter and for his size he was extremely strong and extremely fast.

3. He practiced several hours everyday and never let up on his training.

4. He sparred as often as he could and was challenged many times throughout his lifetime. He sparred with the top fighters of the day as well.

5. He was truly dedicated to martial arts more than anything and he studied the science of fighting (including the laws of physics and biomechanics).

6. He was a prolific writer.

7. Shannon's mom's favorite film is "Way of the Dragon", because she feels it really represents Bruce Lee as a person.

8. Bruce Lee was very much into body building, however he believed in training for function rather than size. When he first started lifting he got too bulky and found that it affected his flexibility and speed, so he changed his methods, and experimented with isometric training and other types to better serve his martial needs.

9. Bruce Lee's main motivation in life was self-cultivation. He wanted to "peel the onion" as it were. He wanted to expose his true essence and then express it out into the world. He was quintessentially himself.

10. He was quick to anger. He wanted things a certain way and he had high standards and sometimes he could lose it. The good thing about him was that he was self-aware. He knew when he had had a blow up and he would recover and reset, and apologize, and work on doing better next time. That was thing with him -- he was always in process and always self-improving, and being the observer of his own behavior and trying to affect change. He was pretty awesome that way.

11. He was terrible at: cooking, singing, and handyman type work. :)

12. "Way of the Dragon" is a film of Bruce Lee. Bruce wrote it, starred in it, produced it, directed it and choreographed it. It really shows his style and sense of humor.

13. Bruce Lee loved Chinese food most of all; oyster sauce beef, but he loved his wife's spaghetti too. He also liked to have an occasional root beer.

14. Shannon thinks that a lot of people think he (Bruce Lee) as arrogant. But he was just confident and self-assured and (by the way) extremely knowledgeable and accomplished. He was also extremely caring -- he liked to help people out as much as he could. Shannon also thinks that people don't realize the depth of who he was as a writer, creator, thinker, and innovator. He was an amazing man.
